Alpha & Omega: TOR

So dear readers, I again am here to talk about important publishers of sci-fi fantasy genre tomes.  While I freely admit that Del Rey was really my first go-to as a teenager and beyond, I also have become friendly with the books from TOR.

TOR is an imprint of Tom Doherty Associates and sold in 1986 to St. Martin's Press.  The imprint has been around for quite some time and definitely given the readers the business.

Given the name of their website - tor-forge.com - you gotta love a nice mythological moment - you know they feel the mythos we all love.

They definitely have hit the mark on several authors which I have read throughout the years.  Terry Goodkind, Issac Asimov, George RR Martin, Orson Scott Card, and the gentlemen behind the Dune reboot, Kevin J. Anderson & Brian Herbert have all found a home with this publisher.

Thank you Tom & Co for making TOR happen.

Check out their shizz here
